Vikky Varun makes his return to acting after six years in the film "Kaalapatthar," which is also his directorial debut. The story follows his character, a border security force soldier who encounters unexpected events upon returning to his home village. The film is set in rural areas such as Jaynapura, Rajasthan, and Jammu & Kashmir, providing an authentic backdrop. To maintain realism, minimal VFX was used during filming in real locations. Vikky, drawing on his experience as an assistant director, found it easier to handle the team on set. Producer Suresh expresses dedication to the project, hoping for a positive reception from audiences to support future content-driven films. Co-starring Dhanya Ramkumar, the film is produced by Bhuvan Movies and premieres today.
